Do we know if ICS is coming for us?

I just emailed Vizio but I am anticipating a vague response..lol. Does anyone know if the VTAB 1008 will be upgraded to Ice Cream Sandwich?

Soon after I bought my VTAB - about 45 days ago - I spoke to a rep in customer support. She said that she had heard Vizio was considering by-passing Honeycomb and upgrading directly to ICS. Of course, that a $ 1.50 will get you a cup of joe in cheap diners.

I sent Vizio support a tweet about honeycomb and they said they had no information of honeycomb coming to the 1008.

I spoke to a representative yesterday and asked about ics or honeycomb and he said last he heard they were still working on honeycomb.

From what I have heard I think I would rather skip Honeycomb and go directly to ICS, sounds like it uses resources a lot better and works well with phones and tablets. Anyone hear something different?

FWIW, I asked support this very question the other day. They said that ICS will be coming to the VTAB, but couldn't give me a timeframe. According to the rep I spoke to, they're going to skip over Honeycome.
