Does the Vizio Rmote App Work on the PS3?

I love my Vizio tablet! Does anyone know how to get it to work with the PS3. The remote app has an option for the PS3, but is does not seem to work. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

It won't work (with the standard remote settings at least) since the PS3 uses bluetooth not IR. I don't think Vizio implemented BT control in the remote but I haven't tried it and it would have been very thoughtful if they did. If you do want to use it as a PS3 remote you will more than likely need to get an IR adapter for the PS3 like this Nyko Blue-Wave Remote control - Infrared. Who knows if the Vizio will then have the right codes to work with the adapter.
