Does this seem good? 2.3, 8", 512mb, 1.2ghz - 200$

Hey there.

I just found this tablet on eBay for around 200$. As I have a friend who's in USA im considering to order it and let him bring it home to Denmark for me.

8" REAL ANDROID 2.3 TABLET FLASH 1.2 CPU 512MB 8GB WIFI | eBayI don't know too much about Tablets, tho .. Does it seem like a good buy?
Or can I get something better for around 200$? Please remember that it has to be shipped from US, so it can reach him within a week.

Just by looking at specs display aspect ratio is 4:3 which is fine by me (good for reading standard Letter/A4 paper size PDF). However resolution is only 800x600, I think that for 8" it should be at least 1024x768. OS is big turnoff (it would be nice if it is at least 3.0). Also no GPS... My opinion is that for 200$ this is not a bargain. However it all depends for what you need it, so maybe it will pefectly satisfy your needs.

generally, it's a good device, but it depends on what's your needs, if this tablet is the right device that you're looking for, then, it's really worthwhile. hope you can find what you want, and have a good experience on tablet buying!

As i know, no China tablet PC comes with an android 3.0 at the moment, most of tablets are based on Android 2.3 OS, If you guys want to know why, pls check our official blog for this article : Why tablet PC still based on android 2.3?

I believe that most Chinese tablets are still based on 2.2/2.3 because Google has NOT YET released source code for Honeycomb <3.0/3.1/3.2> The manufacturers can only use what is available to them. 2.3 is still a good OS although not really meant for tablets. I hope this helps your decision.
