is there a way to lock the tabs bar at the top so when i scroll to the bottom &then want to close the tab or go to another tab without scrolling all the way to the top i can do so easily?

Check out the app Dolphin for Pad. It is a bit more tablet optimized and the tabs stay at the top.

I have not found a way to import bookmarks from HD to Pad though...
