Donate a Sero 7 LT for Development of Root/CWM Touch

If someone were to want to donate a Sero 7 LT to the cause I'll create a root script and CWM Touch for the device community. I would of course return the donated tablet once development was completed.

I may be willing to do that. I've got it rooted using an exploit someone found on XDA. I'm trying to get recovery on it but these instructions don't work. link

I can:
adb shell
su

and get to root prompt so I do have root.

My problem is...
jim@MintLaptop ~/Downloads/rockchip $ adb push recovery.img /dev
failed to copy 'recovery.img' to '/dev/recovery.img': Permission denied

Any ideas?
