Wired is reporting that for what may be the first time ever, more content on the Internet is actually paid for than not. Long the bane of content providers, the Internet now has as it largest slice of usage Netflix traffic (approximately 22% according to some estimates). At $9 per month for unlimited streaming, and with content now coming to SmartPhones and Tablets too, we will probably see this market share increase over the coming months as well.

Don't worry though, there is still plenty of bandwidth left, but for the first time ever it seems that more of the traffic streaming on the information superhighway is legal, although Torrents and other "grey" area traffic is still over 20% as well.
