Download Notifications showing for several months back

How can I clear the download notification permanently? Every time I download a single new file or do a update all of a suddenly months of downloads are relistd. I have to reboot to clear them. Removing them via swapping is not an option since there must be hundreds.
FYI: Running a ZEKI 10" TBD1038B and android v4.11

Try clearing out your Play Store data (Settings > Apps > Play Store > Clear Data) and see if that fixes your issue.

All ZEKI tablets are not compatible with Google Play. Couldn't install it if I wanted to. I use only 1Mobile and Aptoide. New downloads and updates from either causes all past downloads to repopulate regardless of what app or browser downloaded them.

Then clear the data of both apps using the same procedure given earlier for the Play Store.
