Hello, I am trying to download images from my canon powershot G-9 to my e-pad (zt-180, 2.1-update 1, firmware 20101204). I am old, so be explicit.

just transfer the pictures to the sd card that you put in the tablet, that easy

That involves another device, laptop, desktop etc. What is the use of carrying the epad if you are already carrying a laptop?

Android typically has low compatibly with various USB devices. If the camera is detected by the computer as a mass storage device (ie: acts like a USB drive), it 'might' work. Otherwise you need to take the SD card and put it directly into the device.

You can put the memory card into a reader, then copy the files onto the tablet. This can all be done on the tablet using Astro filemanager etc
