Bought the Elocity from NBC for $299. and now notice that HSN is selling a Nextbook 7" LCD Touchscreen Color Tablet with Wi-Fi and Apps - Red Item: 117-035 for $150
What is the difference and why would the Elocity cost almost twice as much?

    Does anyone know?

elocity has android 2.2, so you should be able to use flash games and apps. also the touchscreen is more responsive.

The A7 is a full fledge tablet and the netbook is just trying to be a tablet.

I know I am late to post this, but the A7 has an nVidia Tegra2 processor - Dual core at 1Ghz. The other tablet I am sure only had a single core processor.

I would also bet that the other tablet only had 256mb of ram and less than the storage space of the A7. The A7 is fast - faster than the ipad, uses the same cpu as the ipad2 and the motorola xoom, and is currently being (privately) worked on to upgrade to Android 3. The 2.2 android allows a much better internet experience also. A fairly well built unit also.
