Has anyone set up access to their email? I have a Yahoo.com email address, and I have tried several times to connect to it via the email app that comes on the 7024. I keep getting "No connection to server" message. Anyone have any idea what the issue is? I've tried both the automatic setup and the manual setup using the port number info from Yahoo's site. It's probably just me, and something I don't understand about connecting to Yahoo.com email, like "You can't connect to Yahoo.com email addresses using the included app"...

    Hi

I was able to set up and access my Yahoo email from my 7024. I copied the incoming and outgoing setting directly from my phone (G1 CM6).

I selected IMAP in the manual set up after entering my username and password at the starting screen.

    Incoming server settings:
    Username: yourusername
    Password: yourpassword
    IMAP Server: android.imap.mail.yahoo.com
    Port: 993
    Security: SSL
    IMAP path prefix: Optional

    Outgoing server settings:
    SMTP server: android.smtp.mail.yahoo.com
    Port: 465
    Security type: SSL
    "check" Require sign-in
    Username: yourusername@yahoo.com
    Password: yourpassword

I hope this helps and good luck!

mkol, Thank You, Thank you, Thank You. I've been trying to get email setup for a week and your instructions are the first to get it done. The other instructions were similar but yours are spot-on! Did I thank you? THANK YOU!
