External Keyboard Problems

I recently bought an external keyboard: the i12 Cover for Archos 101 g9 series tablet (i've got a Archos 101 g9 Turbo)
The keyboard doesn't work. It seems like the Tablet doesn't recognize it. I've tried both the 3G-stick USB-port (and I did put that "on" in settings)
and the micro-USB port (with converter cable to normal USB 2.0), but both don't work.
So I tested the keyboard on my PC and there it did just work after I plugged it in.
I thougt maybe I need some kind of USB-driver, but I would have no clue wath sort.

Does anybody know a way to solve my problem?

I think you have a bad keyboard. The Archos G7.5, G8 and G9 all accept a standard USB Keyboard type. The test you did with the PC keyboard was exactly what I would suggest. As an alternate test just to verify it really is bad. Plug it into a PC USB port. It should be recognized as a HID Keyboard type and function with correct keys.
Some of the early tablet Keyboards had some dip switches, but these were for country type if I remember right.

I would return and get an exchange.
