External mic.

Hi, does anybody know if the Acer iconia has a mic input included in the headphone socket (same as iphone or ipad). Also, if a usb mic will work with the tablet?

it can support an inline mic via the headphone jack, don't know about the USB Mic, but it is a standard input port so there may be an apk for that if it is not natively supported

Thank you for your prompt reply to my enquiry. Do you have, or can you point me to any info about headphone and mic input( I am searching google as I write this). Especially the type of plug required, and if the input is stereo or mono?
