I did a factory reset of my Galaxy Tab S and it starts the initial setup, it can connect to the wifi, contentious it's initial setup but it seems to get stuck after that. It keeps saying that It has no internet connection. I was reading that this might be related to the wrong time and date but at this point there's nothing I can do. Is this thing totally bricked?

Download the stock ROM for the Tab S from sammobile.com. Enter into download mode (usually by pressing power and volume down). Flash the ROM package using Odin (available for download at sammobile - follow instructions on how to use). See if that resolves the issue.
