File Manager HD help

I just d/loaded the app so I can pull files from my Win7 PC when at home.

I scanned for connections, LAN was ID'ed OK.
It says 'connection error' 'modify connection settings and try again'
I hit 'edit"
Server is ID'ed by IP
Display label is default name
Domain is blank
User ID field cannot be edited
P/W field cannot be edited

How do I edit user name & P/W? And, what are these referring to (my router, other)?

I am using a TF300T w/4.0.

I am a little confused by your description but I have a suggestion. File Manager HD is pretty good but I gave it up for ES File Explorer. It is a little easier, imo, to use on a local network, and it's a great file manager.

Brilliant! (ES File) is so easy to install & use a caveman could do it!
