File Transfer Apps

I am trying to transfer some files from an old L/Top onto my tablet but seem to be having trouble downloading them to the tablet ant ideas or suggestions would be appreciated

For me, the easiest way is to copy the files to a micro SD card and then insert the card into the tablet.

If you have access to a wireless connection I suggest you use Airdroid. This application works as a data cable but trough Wi-fi
