firmware reflash

hi everyone i have a tablet wm8650 2.2 android kernel 2.6.32.9-default, build number generic-eng2.2 froyo ver1.5.5-20110920.043830 which im having problems with and would really like to reflash the firmware on it does anyone have any ideas on how i go about this

Do you not have the option to do a reset in settings? That would take it back to factory defaults.

yeah i do but the problems im having are calibration and thought that by reflashing the firmware might cure it do you have any ideas?

Doing a factory reset would accomplish the same thing as reflashing the OS with the same version you have now. All data and apps you installed would be gone so you would need to back up your data. Apps could be reinstalled without a problem.

Unless I'm missing something.

I need to know how to load the files into the microSD card for reinstallation of Android OS....!! What are the extension of files that is to be on Card...!!
