Google Play disappeared

I received a new 7 inch ICS tablet yesterday from Shenzhen via Dino Direct. Not bad but a little erratic compared with the 10 inch Digital Android 2,2 which I broke. My problem is that Google Play has disappeared. I was using to install a few essential apps and I suddenly noticed that it had disappeared. Can anyone tell me how to restore this - and for that matter how to reset it to its original setup?

The makers description is :- Apad VIA 8850 Android 4.0.3 tablet PC / DDR3 512 MB / Cortex A9 1.2 GHz / 5-point .......etc

It cost only $79 Australian!

Did you try swiping right -> left to see if it got shoved over to a new page?

Check SETTINGS/APPS and see if it was actually removed...

Yes, that's what I think I did. Anyway it came back! Thanks for responding. Now I will search for a guide to ICS but this litle Apad is great.
