Google Talk videochat not working

Hello everyone,

Yesterday my new tablet (P.o.V. ProTab2 XXL ICS) arrived (the other was broken and they couldn't give me a new one). I wanted to use videochat, but I couldn't find a good app for it. Then I saw that you can use GTalk to chat with video. I installed the plugin on my laptop, that worked. But when I try to videochat with my laptop, I can't select the video-icon. Does anybody know how I can solve this? I am not able to update the app, might that be the problem?

edit: on my laptop I do not see the video-icon in front of the other account.

Update the browser and try to reinstall the plugin. This is one of the major problems of the Google talk. Many did this and got success.

Use the Vtok app. This lets to use the gtalk on 3G

I guess you should reinstall your browser or you should reinstall google talk plugins or may be, it might not be working because of incomplete download of google talk setup. Suppose you don't want to use gtalk again you can go with vtok.
