I'm debating on getting a Verizon 4G mifi or just wait for the Bionic to hit. I also don't know if I want my phone being the center of the universe for everything (I use it for tons of work calls). Are there any methods through the CM7 builds or HC builds that allows you to use the GPS off of it? Obviously TetherGPS won't work.

Thanks in advance

Get a Bluetooth GPS $35. download the Bluetooth GPS app free and copilot $5. So total outlay is $40

Is there any way I can download the Google Map Cache (full US map would be huge, maybe state by state) to my sd card? so that I can use the google navigator offline?

no not google maps (there are some workarounds but too kludgy for me), they only allow you to cache the route - you can try to download openstreet maps and use a different navigation app like navit

frankly a $5 program like copilot removes a lot of headaches

Thanks for the information. What I mean was is there a way to download the cache from the internet and put it into the sd?
