Haipad MID701 doesn't start

Hi there,
my MID 701 7" tablet does not start anymore, no sound, dark screen, no action!
Does anyone know what this can be?
Is there a botton combination for a hard reset?
Can I update the software by SD card although the tablet is shut off?

you wont be able to update the device unless it turns on, How long have you had and used the device? Does it work when plugged in?

no, also plugged in it doesn't work!
Is see a more or less inside red charging light and after some seconds it turns green!
Nothing else!

Hi, I had the same problem. Solved it by resetting.
Hold device with the circle button with the white square, so the this button is on the right of face plate. Hold this button down first, while holding it hold the left toggle button at the top of the device. After a short period you should get the green android and a triangle with explanation mark inside.
Think I then pressed the circle button again until the option of reset came up. Then i pressed the left toggle button to select it.
Hope this helps. Can't remember all the steps sorry.
