Could someone please advice me what sort of exyternal HD will work with a tablet. My Fijitsu disk will not work with my tablet

Any USB disk works on my Coby system, up to 160gb Maxtor (tho its doubtful the brand would matter), the largest usb drive I have tested. It uses usb OTG cable. Some systems require FAT 32 only disks.

The best suggestion I have is using a disk that has 1 USB plug doesn't also require power. But if power is an option you can try it with the power to the disk on. In part, being recognized or not is dependent on the version of Android on your tablet.

I think your only option may be a disk formatted as FAT32.

That old of an OS might not support harddrives, I think you need at least 2.3.
