I have the hdmi interface and am trying to connect it to a vga input device.
I have also bought an electronic hdmi to vga adapter, which I know works as I have plugged it into my blue ray player and it plays on my projector.
I did figure out that the samsung hdmi interface must be powered by the charger to work.
When I connect it all up to my tab and a vga monitor I get an android on the screen with 720p? next to it an nothing else
