Hello, I want to use an android tablet to access the internet through an iPhone 3GS

I am in the middle of choosing either and android tablet or an iPad. I am leaning to android, however, I must have the capability to connect to the internet using the iPhone's cell connection.

Any help, suggestions are always appreciated.
