Help ! How does scriptcmd and update.sh been excuted?

I am trying to upgrade my flytouch , but there some details what I did't know:

1. How does u-boot judge that it should be upgrade or just boot Android normally?

2. How dose the scriptcmd been excuted?

3. How does the update.sh been excuted?
