Hello all,

My friend gave my his CHINESE iPad since the Touch Screen is not working. I do not know what this tablet is, it says iPad on the back, the box does not have any label or anything, just has a picture of an iPad with a red wallpaper.

The "iPad" has a label on the back though,

ID NO:
Model No.: M-003
Input Power: 9V
Designed and Made in America.

It had Android 1.6, the touch screen was not working, I tried flashing a MID 2.2 update but it shows a blank screen.

It also works with the ORIGINAL APPLE USB CABLE?? Weird !!

Any help?

Nope it's not an EKEN, I tried installing the EKEN M003 firmware on it but it now gives me a BLANK SCREEN. It plays the startup sound though !

any help??
Hi. My tablet looks very much like yours. The box is the same, the shape and colour is the same. But mine does not have the Apple logo but is marked M-003.
So I presume it is an Eken clone.
I haven't flashed it yet but I will do as I have a problem with shutting it down.
When you tried yours did you format the mini sd Fat32 first?
I have had tablets when the first flash has failed but a second attempt is OK.
If I get mine flashed successfully, I will let you know.

This looks exactly like mine:

M003 8" TFT LCD Google Android OS 1.6 Tablet PC with WiFi (Via MW8505 / 600MHz) - White $138.79 Free Shipping

(Can't remember if we are allowed to post external links.).

So I am now looking at trying my collection of WM8505 roms.
But I am definitely going to look under the hood to see exactly what in this pad as you can't believe the information on the pad.
