HELP! my 2.2 Tablet keeps disconnecting and wont go online :0(

HELLO ALL

I'm new to the site, and I purchased a 2.2 Tablet android model number wondermedia wm8650 as a prezzie for my partner for xmas, and we can't use it online. Everytime we try to connect, with in seconds it disconnects, but yet we have full signal showing on the android tablet. I have no problem with my laptop or android mobile phone going online, connects straight away.

one other thing is that these Tabs dont like routers that run N, so to use it u may need to change the router to use only B and G

Ive got a flytouch android 2.3. Having same problem only I can't get mine to connect at all! It sees the router but won't connect. The router is linksys and is 3 years old although I did have the firm ware upgraded last week.
