Hello,
I got directed to this forum by the manufacturer I bought my tab from.

Its a Flytouch 7 / Superpad 8, Android 4.0.3 (I guess).
Quite cool, but I hibernated it the 2nd day I got it and since then it won't come on. When I power it, it shows the OEM screen, then the Green Android Robot and then forever loads on the screen that just says ANDROID.
Sometimes, the screen blinks as if it wants to show the home desktop, but rarely, it loads the desktop but says something like "Process Android IU has stopped"; then it goes back to the flashing ANDROID screen. Please what can I do?
I requested for a firmware upgrade and the manufacturer sent me one, its like 211MB (zipped) but after downloading, it doesn't completely unzip; its like the package is corrupt. Moreoever, the bits of unzipped files I could glimpse are in Chinese or Cantonese or some unknown language.

SPEC:

AllWinner Embedded 1.5Ghz, ARM Cortex A8, 32-bit core

DDR3 1G@ 667MHz

All storage disks are inbuit and not accessible, but it has a free SD mini card slot
Supports USB & USB/OTG, dont know which of the 2 slots belong to which, but when I connect it to the PC, it discovers 3 storage removable units, but none is accessible (0byte)

Hi, congratulations on your new tablet and welcome to the forum. I'm moving your thread to the Android Tablet Q&A section for you, where more people with that tablet are likely to join the discussion and try to help you get it running again. Good luck!
