I need to enlist your guy's help in find the right tablet for my wife for Xmas. I want to spend just around $200 on a tablet that is around 7-10 inches. (it doesnt need to be 10 inches, 7 is fine with me). I have been lurking around the forums for few days now and i have an idea but, im new to the android market buying and work bought me my tablet. So what woud you guys suggest? I have been looking at the gome flytouch 2 what do you guys think.
what do you want the tablet to do ? hdmi out / camera / video recorder ? get 2.1 android at the very least .
it doesnt really matter as long as it has 2.1 or 2.2, hdmi out is always nice but i would rather remain in the performance region with my wife. Camera is a plus. I also should state, that she would like them market on it without rooting. thanks guys

thanks for the reply wendywind, i will be looking into those has anyone heard of the telepab 10 android 2.1 10inch MP4Nation: usd $209 (free shipping)
Judging by the specs and the pictures, looks very much like the Haipad M1001 (and other similar clones). That's one of the tablets on my short-list. Generally speaking, based on what I have read on this and other forums, the Telechips TCC890x-based tablets seem to get good reviews. They are not absolute top performers, but they are also not bottom level tablets either, and seem to have a fairly stable build of Android 2.1. Many on this forum recommend them.
