I am using a Samsung Galaxy Tablet and I am trying to clear or refresh the thumbnail cache for the default gallery application that comes with Honeycomb 3.2 (build: HTJ85B.VLKL2 P7510VLKL2).

I have tried the following:

- Clearing the 'Gallery' application cache from 'Settings/Applications/Manage Applications'
- Deleting the thumbnail cache from 'mnt

Sorry about that. As i said still getting used to the system website.

The second thing I tried was to delete the thumbnail cache the following location:

'/mnt/sdcard/Android/data/com.android.sec.gallery3d/cache/'

But all that seems to do is delete the thumbnails, but does not actually force the application to refresh its dbase.

Any ideas how to get the default gallery application to refresh/rebuild its dbase of folders/files/thumbnails.

I guess i should have mentioned i am trying to do this becasue since i updated the OS build, the gallery app has stops refreshing its dbase.

Thank you in advance for any thoughs and ideas.
