help with dumping rom

hi, i have omega OT107 (rk2918 based tablet android 4.0.4), can you help me with dumping rom?
i need to have stock backup of everything before i can root it or change rom and omega does not provide update.img
i found some ways to dump rom but all of them need root
i can do it in linux or windows, it does'nt matter

Hi
i would be also interrested in rooting that stuff.
But therefor the bootloader has to be unocked first.
i have still no info on doing that.
