Hi guys I have just brought a Acer a500 does anyone know how I can transfer songs off of my tab straight to the USB stick? Please help

There is a video on that page. Watch it.

Basically you select a file, then menu operate, copy
then navigate to where you want it and select menu operate paste.

Long presses work too.

Long press a folder, select copy then navigate to the usb stick (its mounted in /mnt/usb_storage ).
Then long press and tap paste.

Turn on multi-select to select a whole bunch of files.

Get a file manager, Astro works. Go to \mnt (mnt is short for mount).

The on board memory is sdcard, the sd card is external_sd, and if have you something in the usb port it will be usb_storage.
So the paths are:


\mnt\sdcard
\mnt\external_sd
\mnt\usb_storage

Apps go on the internal memory, aka sdcard. There isn't a partition, so the only limit is your on board 14.4GB of memory.

The system memory area will see both drives, so you can always see how much you are using.
