Help

I have just received my new tablet and was going through the different sections in the menu and I have somehow managed to get myself into a screen and cannot get out of it, All I have on the screen is a small circle with a cross through it. I cannot get anywhere. I have tried getting back to the main menu and also tried to turn the device off. Can anyone please tell me how to get back to the main screen

Probably have to power down the device, press and hold the power button, usually takes about ten seconds. If it has a reset button, usually a pinhole sized opening somewhere on the tablet you can try that if it won't power down.
