Would like to control what apps do and don't start when I turn on my Toshiba Thrive. Especially "Skype"- want it, but not on all the time. Thanks.

Hi, welcome to Android Tablets. Some apps can be controlled through their settings, but for most you need a task killer app downloaded from the Market. This is not generally recommended since the newer versions of Android do a pretty good job of managing tasks on their own.
