Hi I'm Ivy, Fairly new to the android scene, just picked up a Telstra T-touch Tab (rebadged Huawei S7 tablet.) I've been playing round and hacking with unix for a long time =P so this is a new platform to hack on. So much to learn, but it's going to be a lot of fun. So far, I've successfully rooted the device, and have mucked round a little with it, I've been going through all of the .rc files and init scripts, to see how this thing boots. Anyway that's all for now. ~Ivy
Hi Peter, I noticed the bounty =) And currently I'm picking apart the init.rc to see what I could possibly hack. As the s7 doesn't have a huge amount of storage for applications, I might be able to create a custom boot.img that will let one use the sd card for app storage. This shouldn't in itself be too hard to be honest. ~Ivy
Well sure going to try. Just picked up an eight gb card for the device. The t touch tab doesn't have an internal card, and only came with a two gb card. I'm having fun so far. ~ivy Sent from my S7 using Android Tablet Forum App
