I guess I will soon be a proud VIZIO VTab owner. Just odered a reburb from Newegg. Not a bad deal ($199 with the $49 folio free). Looking for to the possible honeycomb update that was hinted at in a thread here. Been reading all the good tips.

i bought 2 from newegg. its going to come with .56 dont update if you want root. root it and freeze updater. when honeycomb drops im sure it will be rooted. then update to that.

Just wondering. Why not update it? That was the fist thing I did when I bought mine around Xmas. It has worked fine so far.

IceCreamSandwich4.0 (not ICM) does not look like it will be released any time soon, Vizio support has been wispering that they would be releasing Honeycomb 3.? . No word on which Honeycomb release it will be, or how much Vizio will cripple it like they did with Gingerbread 2.3.2.

Got the VTab today... Rooted with superoneclick...what would I need to do to block or turn off that nagging OTA upgrade?
