how do i reach the boot menu of a 7127

i recently bought my first coby i got the 7127 and i can not figure out how to reach the boot menu. from what i have heard you hold the power and back buttons while rebooting but that is not working. how exactly do i do it.

You mean the Recovery Mode? AFAIK there is a bug in the firmware for 8125/1125 that probably also affects 7125, 7127 and 1126 that prevent you to get into Recovery Mode using the physical buttons. You must attach the tablet to a computer using USB and use fastboot commands. I think there are some threads about it for 8125/1125 already.
