How do you turn off the typewriter sound in Android 4.1?

Recently got a tablet running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. How do you turn off that annoying typewriter sound when using the keyboard? Thanks.

Wish I could help, but alas ...I have no jelly bean !

Someone will come. In the time allotted, follow the path ...grasshopper!

It has to be in there somewhere! Check settings.

On my tablet settings - language & input if I tap the symbol to the right of the keyboard I use there is an addtionl menu that allows be to turn keyboard sounds on or off.
