Hello. I just received my first android device, a Haipad M701-R 2GB from Pandawill. I am really impressed with this device! I have rooted and installed Skype full version and it's running great. Now I need to prevent my WIFI connection from dropping. Supposedly you can go to Wi-Fi Settings > [Menu Button] Advanced > Wi-Fi Sleep Policy, and there should have options for "When screen turns off", "Never when plugged in" and "Never". However, when I go there I see no WIFI sleep policy options at all. Anyone have tips on keeping the wifi up long-term so that I could my skype connection up and running? Thanks for any help.
