Yeah, it starts the scan when you open it. There is no start button, it just runs when you open the app.

My guess is that it's doing something just not correcting your problem. Wish I could be more help.

I fought with this for months until I went to Picassa on my PC. There you will find settings to stop the auto picture collection from your device and you can also delete photos easily there. Once you sign up for Picassa it starts collecting photos. I found nothing on my tablet to do this, I had to use a PC and go to Picassa on-line.

That is where I found all those empty albums that show up as Dated Place Holders.... They are the empty albums on Picasa Web album page in G+
I am deleting now... 45 left out of 135
This should do it...
My Tablet (in info at left) has a setting to UN-Sync G+ and Picasa for all the photos.

EDIT
I turned back on the Picasa Web albums sync on my Tablet, and only 2 albums showed up, the 2 I did not delete.....
I then turned it off.....

But, my G+ Profile album on my tablet doesn't show my 3 profile photos..... LOL hahah lol

I can live with that.. ;)

Thanks jgumphress
That was the fix !!!!
