Hi guys... Bought a 7" android 2.2 tablet WM8650 800mhz CPU from ebay... I checked the CPu and it says ...

    arm926ej-s rev 5 v5l
    bogoMIPS 349.79

What I'd like to know is, is this really the 800mhz processor and how can I check it?

    Thanks

    SK

If you have a terminal emulator, you can run "cat /proc/cpuinfo"
Or you can go find a copy of android system info.

On many processors it does(rise with the workload and slows down to conserve battery), but not on this one..

    It's really 349.79
The 800 is a plain lie to sell more..
