How to get installed apps icons onto screen

Ive got an android 2.3.3 and habeen able to download apps but some dont show up on my screen so I can open them. I dLed ebay and the icon is on the screen but another one is on the sd card but cant get it so I can open it unless I reinstall it. Thanks

dont transfer your apps to sd cause for example you connected your tablet to pc, after unplugging the apps that are installed on your sd card will not be read. to fix this you need to boot again your tablet. i recommend to use an app called link2sd. its better than transferring your apps to sd.
