How to resolve Toshiba Satellite P100/105 Start Up Problem?

My laptop was working fine but after a recent shutdown, it refuses to boot up. After switching Power On, the poser on indicator glows but the computer fails to boot. Any solutions?

Which OS are you using? Try rebooting it again using Windows CD. You can always restore the system. There'll be no data loss.
By the way which laptop do you have? I would suggest everyone here to buy a Toshiba lappy next time, if you do. Toshiba gives really good performance. Also, it offers great deals.
