What would you need to help with the process as I have a 7065 that was in return for a cracked screen 7042? I tried rooting last night and trying now but it won't allow me to remove internal storage from PC. On Windows 8 shows up as MTP device and I am only able to remove that. Any ideas anybody?? System recovery has the usual items along with new ones: apply update from cache, wipe media partition and set efuse item. Tablet also has safe mode by pressing power then volume - button, recovery power and volume -+ button. Hope that helps

How long did it take you to get your replacement? my son's 7042 just committed suicide, so I will be sending in his 7042 under warranty, hopefully they will send me a 7065.

I have not seen this tablet, I know nothing at all about it, if Coby sends me one, I will find a way to root it.

I am glad that they finally came around with including the Play Store instead of the other app markets they were including with their tablets. The tablet is very good stock but could be user some tweaking though to make it better. If I knew what to look for and where to find it, I could help with this one.

Thing is getting adb to work properly. As I said earlier the only way to remove the internal storage is to remove the entire device from pc

Tried on different pc with same results. Device not present when typed adb devices and tablet showed up as MTP device. I even removed devices using usbdview

I am getting requests for root, recovery, roms for this device. I don't have this device, I don't know how to root it, nor do I have a recovery or roms for it. Unless Coby sends me one of these tablets, I will not be doing any work on this device.
