How to root my Velocity T 410 Tablet

I tried Gingerbreak V 1.20. It did not work. What version do i need?

That version should work for you. What did gingerbreak say when you ran it?

The first time, it just re booted after running. I saw no changes. I tried again and it said it didn't work.
I tried to reply here but my keyboard would not appear. I am on my laptop now.

The only think I could think of is if you updated your tablet recently and the update blocked the root exploit. Also there is no harm in trying gingerbreak over several times, I remember I had to use z4root like 5 times before it took on one of my devices.

One more thing try and download super user from the Play Store and then try an app the requires root just to double check.

The software installed super user. I click on it and the gingerbrake program shows up and it says allow.

What is the Super User icon supposed to trigger?

I have another question. I found another root program on amazon android apps. I saved it. Now I cannot find it.
How do I locate and install the app?
