How to set USB to charge only

I have a ASUS Transformer and need to sync Outlook data by USB under the control of CompanionLink software. This requires setting the USB to "Charge Only" and I canot find out how to do that. ASUS Sync doesn't seem to work either. But I want to make CompanionLink work! I have been posting this question in several places and have asked ASUS, too, but no response!

Perhaps this is not trivial... but I had to return a XOOM for the same issue. Boy, I hope not for this one, too.
