How to update Novo 7 Elf firmware from a Mac?

Hello, first post on here so go easy on me!

I just received a new Novo 7 Elf but it's not been updated with the most recent firmware.
I've found plenty of posts relating to updating the firmware but all seem to require Windows and I'm a Mac user.

Does anyone know how I'd go about installing the latest firmware from a Mac?

You would need to install windows, I am a Linux user myself. Was no way to upgrade my momo8 without windows.

I do have an old Windows XP box at home but not even turned it on in 5 years probably!
Hopefully it still works when I try to fire it up later.

You could use Parallels on the Mac and install WinXP on that.
That's what I'm going to use anyway!
