What is interesting about that is my unit, fresh from Best Buy in the US, shows version
S7 V100R001C28B010
in the system info
but the list above shows
S7 V100R001C28B015

Does that mean that there is a newer version I wonder?

Well, I loaded both the BB and RS versions and the only visible difference I have noticed is the build number BB is S7V100R001C28B010 and the RS version is S7V100R001C29B010

I installed this firmware and is the one that came originally with my tablet S7 104 from BestBuy . I am going to put back the other one (S7V100R001C01) because of the full root.

No is not a new build.
Is what you have all ready. I installed this and is the same with the original. V100R001C28B010.
Good to have backup.

I was told by Huawei Norway that it will be made available shortly, they just need a space on their Norwegian support webpage to place it...

Now that I'm home I've just tried to go to

using the firmware name mentioned. It appears to be downloading.

I will report back shortly on what this firmware is.

hehehe I thing huawei have caught on with firmware images. I ended up with a french image with a different version number =)

maybe it is wise to specify for each of these firmware uppdates the hardware version for that they were created
for example mine s101 and dont have any ideea of what firmware should i chose except for austria a1 one

Please do not lose your time doing this what is very important is the number that is before the file name this is how they track this uploads. 37504 is important and tell you what file need to be pulled out from the servers. The name of the file you could be everything you want. They do increment uploaded file by numbers.

Sorry, I was later told it only contains norwegian language support and predefined APN definitions for Norwegian cell providers.
Not even sure I will bother install it...

It should have english i never see anything just without it if not is an application more locale for this and regards APN once rooted we have a chance to edit this file.
