I can hook up my laptop to a DVD recorder and make flawless copies. This won't help a bit.

The same goes with Netflix. Why bother trying to record their streaming video when it's so much easier to copy DVD's?

Good question you might find this interesting Forget the tethering police, the rooting police are here, led by Google | ZDNet. I mean really who is using their phone or tablet to rip and torent media?
