Hyundai Jumps into the Android Tablet Game in Rusia with Three New Tablets

    In the United States, Hyundai is mostly known for their quality automobiles with outstanding warranties, but it's easy to forget that the company does other things besides just cars. In fact, Hyundai is also in the Android tablet game and has three new tablets ready to launch in Russia this year. Here's a breakdown of the tablets along with pricing,

    Hyundai HT-7B – Retails for 7000 Russian Roubles (including VAT). Without VAT and in dollars – that would be around $180 USD.
    • 7” 1024×600 display
    • 1GB of RAM
    • Wi-Fi
    • GPS
    • 2 and 0.3 mpx cameras
    • 8GB built-in storage
    • 4000 mAh battery
    • 1GHz Samsung CPU
    • (Separate model with built-in 3G modem and Navitel navigation software will go for 8000 Roubles, or $207 USD.)
    Hyundai HT-9B - Starting at $270 in retail

    • 1.2 GHz Cortex A8 CPU
    • Mali-400 GPU
    • 1GB of RAM
    • 16GB of storage
    • 2mpx and 0.3 mpx cameras

    • Wi-Fi
    • Bluetooth
    • USB 2.0
    • HDMI
    • 5600 mAh battery
    • Fully metallic body and optional dock/keyboard.

    • 10.1” 1024×600 display

    This is intriguing. I wonder if they will eventually start offering crazy warranties on these like they do with their cars? :)
