Improving Wifi reception

Besides sitting next to the wireless router, is there anything you can do with the S7 SLIM to improve its 801.11 communications? Mine has problems staying connected in the same spot my old S7-104 worked fine.

So far it seems that charging the battery while using WiFi helps a little...

The wifi antenna appears to be on the left side of the device, turning it 90 degree vertical may help. Check your router and adjust the position of the antenna. I have mine pointed downward at a 45 degree angle and I get very good saturation from the second floor to the basement and in the yard as well (802.11 g).
Download wifi analyzer and run on your device, it will give you a wealth of information and even recommend which channel to set your router to for best signal strength.

I think you're right about the antenna. It seem to lose the signal when I put the right end on the arm of the chair.
